Mr. Trudeau, when you go before the UN to recognize the “devastating legacy” of the colonization of Canada by the white man, which took place without the consent and participation of indigenous peoples, how can you continue to be a Zionist? At a time when grassroots activists and organizers everywhere are denouncing normalization with Israel, one Palestinian with a very large global social media following is actively promoting it, pandering to the liberal Zionist line of “both sides” being to blame for the violence and loss of life in Palestine.
Puma has been calling for action against hate. But Palestinian footballer Mahmoud Sarsak asks, “So why is Puma supporting the hate which is destroying lives and poisoning the beautiful game?”
With calls to defund the police growing and the BDS movement on the rise, it’s time to challenge the annual $3.8 billion in U.S. aid to Israel. It’s time to defund the IDF.
There’s been a lot of talk about foreign governments intervening in our political process over the last few years, but some stories don’t get covered like others.
